The celebration of Guru Purnima on July 3, 2023 at Maharishi University was filled with enthusiasm and ebullience. The event began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, followed by a Guru Puja performed by the teachers of Transcendental Meditation. Mr. Shivam Yadav then gave a brief introduction on the significance of Guru Purnima.
A short video of Maharishi ji discussing the importance of the Guru, the abundance of life, and higher states of consciousness was played. The main points and summary of the video were presented by the Hon’ble Advisor (SoC). Percussionist Supriyo captivated the audience with his melodious Tabla performance.
The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor shared words of wisdom, followed by blessings from the Hon’ble Director General and insightful words from the Hon’ble Chancellor. Regular meditators were recognized and awarded during the program.
The event concluded with a Bhajan Sandhya, led by renowned Bhajan Singer Shri Harish Gupta ji, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the MUITians and distinguished guests.
Finally, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy the blessed Prasad, marking the end of the celebration.
